This summer hot spot is the result of Bruce Boody, ASLA, designing the Master Plan for Whitefish City Beach and Park. Renovation and additions to this city park constructed in the 1930’s on Whitefish Lake, included an extremely detailed thought process of blending rock retaining walls and even the color of the handrails to the hues and beauty of the lake and surrounding mountains. The added grassy areas, gazebos and walkways create a much used and pleasant picnic area. Expansion and renovation included the park areas, beach, parking areas and boat ramp relocation.
