Sierra McCartney
Landscape Designer
Sierra joined BBLA in October 2018. She is inspired to create a world where human development is integrated into the larger biological community, and to form beneficial relationships between the natural and built environment. Her experience includes work in site master planning, food security planning, high-end residential design, trail planning, and restoration design.
Sierra was born and raised in Whitefish, and upon completing her graduate program, a cross-country tandem bicycle tour from Boston, brought her back to the mountains that she loves. Sierra balances out life in the office with trail running and nordic skiing. She lives for the bigger adventures including backpacking, bikepacking, float trips, and peak climbing.
